Horse and carriage touring

Exhibition - The severed head
Center of the exhibition is a large cut through turf covered burial mound where different funerals are shown. The experiments Morso Archaeology Association has done over the years with experimental archaeology have a large space in the exhibition: the manufacture of glass beads, ancient ceramics, wickerwork, etc.

Wooden ships around the Limfjord
Experience the about 60 beautiful, old wooden ships as they come alongside the quay in Nykøbing Mors harbour. There will be stalls and good things to eat and drink at the harbour area.

"Pig Party" - Island party with the taste of Mors
Experience a true "pig party" in the big tent at the harbour in Nykøbing Mors. The menu is grilled pig with side dishes, and later on the band strikes up for dance until the party ends at 1.00 o’clock.

See how to find fossils. What are you going to look for, and how to find them. Please bring a pocket knife and perhaps a magnifying glass with you. Learn about the mo-clay, which was formed 55 million years ago, nd why the mo-clay cliffs on Fur and Mors are on the candidate list to UNESCOs World inheritance.
