The Limfjord area is excellent for cycling and in this tour you’ll get 6 days with a little of everything. A silent bay and a foaming sea. A unique and varied scenery, high sky, clean air and Western Jutland hospitality.
The Limfjord is Denmark’s largest bay area and known for its many small islands, the miniature ferries and the many bridges between the provinces.
The daily cycling tours are planned so that you mainly use the less crowded roads, cycling paths along the coast, and go through agricultural land, plantations, green forests, along the the north Sea and parts of the national park Thy.
You will cross the Limfjord 3 times before your 250 km cycling tour takes you back to the area around the Sallingsund Bridge. You will spend the nights in the larger towns along the route and during your trip you’ll also have time to stop and see the many sights and attractions in the area. Don’t forget your swimsuit because the route definitely invites swimming in the Limfjord’s blue water.
